Career Management Resources was founded by Tom Washington in 1979. He holds an MA in Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University (1978). From the beginning he utilized proven methods for assisting people to identify their ideal occupations and the techniques needed to find the right job. From its start Career Management Resources has met the needs of its clients.

Not only does it provide services for individuals but has provided outplacement and career development services to such corporations as Hewlett-Packard, Paccar, Digital Equipment, and Olympic Stain.

Tom was joined by Gary Kanter in 1988. Gary’s recognized talent as a resume consultant and career coach has added a new team dimension to CMR.
