Program Manager—Selected to manage a new
partnership program with Nation’s Bank by offering escorted travel tours to the
bank’s 300,000 key account members. Selected and developed 10 travel options
per year. Worked closely with the
bank’s marketing department to promote them. Acted as liaison with vendors,
Nation’s Bank, and customers. Resolved numerous problems and concerns in the
early stages of the program. Developed and implemented training programs and
manuals. Over 90% of customers rated
their tour services good or excellent. In the first three years of the program
more than 24,000 members participated in tours, 20% above the program’s goal.
Director, Sales and Marketing—Developed sales programs for marketing tours to
Reno, Disneyland, and Hawaii, through travel agents. Conducted training
sessions for staff and travel agents on selling Hawaii to clients, increasing
sales revenue on Hawaii vacations by over 38%. Played a key role in making this
company one of the top producing Hawaii travel operators in the Midwest.
