QUALIFICATIONS

Broad experience in all phases of the production and inspection of hybrids and micro­electronics, gained through 13 years in the industry. Extensive experience in hiring, training, certifying, and supervising inspectors and technicians. Work effectively with engineers to resolve production and vendor problems. Extensive experience using military standards.

EMPLOYMENT

Inspector—Inspect microprocessor hybrids at the diebond, wirebond, internal visual, and external visual stages. Recognized for fast and accurate inspecting. Certify and train inspectors. Work effectively with government source inspectors to gain approval of completed hybrids. Provide technical advice to buyers, procurement engineers, and manufacturing engineers to resolve production and vendor problems. Work with laboratory personnel in failure analysis to determine causes of component failures. Developed a failure trend analysis record log which has enabled the firm to trace failures back to vendors by quality lot number.

 

Quality Assurance Supervisor - At the salmon processing plant, supervised a staff of four and ensured all product met Castle and Cook’s high standards. Decreased wastage and internal losses through better monitoring of production. Had close contact with food brokers and quickly dealt with any quality problems. Established new production procedures which resulted in a 40% drop in quality complaints and saved $230,000 in returned product. Gained the cooperation of production and sales management and brought the QA department to its highest level of respect ever.
