Had total responsibility for the entire accounts receivable system on a 24-hour basis. Supervised three computer operators and worked directly with the Accounts Receivable Department. Did all troubleshooting and resolution of system errors. Implemented program changes that significantly reduced run time and increased program efficiency.

Maintained financial applications and rewrote existing RPG II programs to COBOL to improve their maintainability. Wrote all programs to the automated system and completed testing of the system. Wrote interface programs with general ledger packages. Developed entry screens and reports for users. Wrote complete and easy to use documentation.

As a systems analyst, work on state of the art projects in system design. In charge of the design and implementation of a software product which will monitor the construction of the NASA Space Station. Normalized and logically designed data, prototyped logic design into P.C. - Oracle database and uploaded finished prototype to ORACLE IBM-4341/MVS.

In charge of all phases of development of a data security system. Gathered requirements, conducted system analysis, wrote functional specifications, and tested the access and security portion of System Wide Features, an IMS shell that manages screens and transactions. Also wrote user documentation and conducted a three day training seminar. Received letter of commendation in recognition of design efforts and outstanding performance in creating a highly efficient and effective system.
