Director of Marketing - Consumer and Small Business Group—Led a team of 8 senior marketing managers in the successful creation, launch, and execution of programs for customer acquisition, customer loyalty, and customer retention, that increased market share from 21% to 28%. Worked closely with advertising agency to create and launch the company's first mass media branding campaign in conjunction with telemarketing and direct mail programs.

Senior Market Manager - Small Business ServicesManaged marketing activities for the small business market, focusing primarily on strategic planning and the implementation of aggressive marketing campaigns. Developed successful marketing campaigns that resulted in achieving the $60 million revenue objective.

 

Corporate Marketing Manager—For this $82 million manufacturer of telecommunications equipment, responsible for marketing and business development activities for three internal business units. Overhauled all aspects of the marketing program to introduce products more quickly and to strengthen relationships with customers. Achieved a 45% market share for a new product line and established new sales/distribution channels for a more established line of OEM products.

 

Successfully developed a comprehensive product roll-out program which dramatically improved the information available to our sales channels and customers. Using this new product roll-out program, successfully introduced a new platform extension for the telecommunications industry that increased market share from 21% to 32%.

 

Manager - Sales Communications—Manage all projects which deliver a sales message to our dealers including trade shows, development of sales material, and development of dealer training material.  Manage annual budget of $1.3 million.  Have played a key role in the development of annual trade show programs, sales compensation programs, and sales tracking systems.  Cut cost of producing sales material by 16%.  Executed the 1999 national sales meeting at 14% under the $310,000 budget. Managed the restructuring of trade show and events activities. The restructuring cut event costs over 30% and resulted in better leads for new prospects.
