Given a mandate to improve sales and service for this under-performing
branch. Introduced new product lines and significantly enhanced customer service.
Through improved cooperation between departments, took the next day delivery
rate on purchase orders from 94% to 98.4%. Exceeded corporate goals for sales,
gross margins, inventory turns. Increased sales 40% in eleven months.
General Manager—Managed all aspects of the
business including sales and operations for this manufacturer of concrete
construction products. Increased sales to existing accounts by 50% to 150%
each. Introduced new product lines, accounting for 30% of the sales growth.
