Hold mixing records for ten of the twenty primary products, with production of up to 2800 cases in an eight hour shift. Maintain a rejection rate one-fifth the plant average. Train new employees and have helped produce some of the top mixers. Frequently make recommendations that have enabled other mixers to increase speed and accuracy.

Millwright - Install, move, repair, and maintain equipment as needed at the Aurora power plant. Repair air compressors, vacuum compressors, vacuum pumps, electric motors, conveyor systems, valves, gear boxes, fork lift trucks, and overhead cranes. Developed a preventive maintenance system for ash hopper pumps which was adopted throughout the plant and saves over $18,000 annually. Developed a system for exchanging filters on motors which run forced draft fans. The new exchange system does not necessitate shutting down the boilers and saves approximately $1 million each year in production time.

Journeyman Machinist—Duties include grinding punches and dies for can manufacturing machines, maintaining tolerances within .0002". Machine various mechanical components according to blue prints for production equipment repairs.

Tool and Die Maker - Build mill fixtures, checking fixtures, blanking dies, form dies, joggle dies, draw dies, injection molds, and rubber molds. Consistently given the most difficult and complex assignments with the smallest tolerances. Have produced many cost saving measures by reducing the number of steps needed in the production of various parts.

Make form, blank, and multistage dies. Build replacement dies, die blocks, and punches. Fabricate hydraulic parts, high speed machinery component parts, and x-ray equipment.
