EMPLOYMENT

Design interiors for nursing homes, hospitals, and clinics. Work primarily from blueprints and travel to each job site to direct the installation of furnishings. Completed five 100 bed nursing homes in one year with each one receiving excellent reviews from staff and patients.

Design and furnish residential and commercial interiors. Select and purchase stock for showroom displays and schedule installations. Have established an excellent reputation for quality and uniqueness. Lobby of the Torrance building in St. Louis was featured in Professional Builders magazine.

Space Planner - Worked closely with architects and designers to develop space plans for the company’s new corporate headquarters building. Gathered and analyzed data from department managers and employees on equipment, space, and communications requirements, departmental functions, and planned growth.

Created a space plan based on user needs, space allocation formulas, requirements for shared equipment, and the distribution of environmental support systems. Developed a furniture standard for all operational levels which improved the visual quality of the work environment, achieved a unified design throughout the building, and significantly reduced furniture expenditures.
